Author Guidelines for IJAPESH

International Journal of Academic Publishing in Educational Sciences and Humanities

1. Language & Submission Requirements

  • Languages Accepted: Arabic and English (manuscripts must be grammatically flawless).

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) only.

  • Page Limit: 20–25 pages (including references, tables, and appendices).

    • Excess Page Fee: $10 per additional page (for papers exceeding 25 pages).

2. Manuscript Structure

All submissions must include the following sections in order:

  1. Title (clear, concise, and reflective of the study).

  2. Abstract (200–250 words, summarizing objectives, methods, and key findings).

  3. Keywords (5–7 terms, separated by commas).

  4. Introduction (context, problem statement, research gap, and objectives).

  5. Research Questions/Hypotheses (clearly stated).

  6. Literature Review & Theoretical Framework (if applicable).

  7. Methodology (research design, participants, tools, and analysis methods).

  8. Findings & Discussion (logically structured with subheadings).

  9. Conclusion & Recommendations (linked to research objectives).

  10. References (APA 7th edition, alphabetically ordered).

  11. Appendices/Tables/Figures (numbered sequentially: Table 1, Figure 2, etc.).

3. Originality & Ethical Standards

  • Plagiarism Policy: All submissions must be original (<20% similarity, excluding references).

    • Self-plagiarism (reusing authors’ prior work without citation) is prohibited.

  • Prior Publication: Manuscripts must not be published or under review elsewhere.

  • Ethical Compliance: Studies involving human subjects must include ethical approval details.

4. Referencing & Formatting

  • Citation Style: APA 7th edition (in-text and reference list).

  • References: Alphabetical order by author’s last name; DOI/URLs mandatory for online sources.

  • Font & Layout:

    • Times New Roman (12pt), 1.5 line spacing.

    • Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides.

5. Accepted Content Types

IJAPESH publishes:
✔ Original research articles
✔ Systematic reviews
✔ Translations (with permission from copyright holders)
✔ Book reviews (recent publications only)
✔ Reports from academic conferences
✔ Summaries of theses/dissertations (with advisor approval)

6. Submission Process

  1. Email the manuscript to ijapesh.editor@gmail.com with subject: Submission_[Article Type]_[Last Name] (e.g., Submission_ResearchPaper_Smith).

  2. Include a cover letter stating:

    • The work’s originality.

    • Confirmation of APA formatting.

    • Any conflicts of interest.

7. Review & Publication Timeline

  • Peer Review: 4–8 weeks (double-blind process).

  • Post-Acceptance:

    • Authors receive a proof for final corrections.

    • Publication Fee: If accepted (waivers available for low-income countries).

8. Copyright & Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright under CC BY-NC 4.0.

  • IJAPESH reserves the right to edit manuscripts for clarity and style.
