The mediating Role of Administrative Leadership in the Relationship between Crisis Management and Change Management by Application to Imam Al-Hadi College in the Period from (2017-2023)
Abstract
This study examined the mediating role of administrative leadership in the relationship between crisis management and change management, as applied to Al-Imam Al-Hadi College. The study's problem was formulated as the following question: To what extent does the mediating role of administrative leadership affect the relationship between crisis management and change management? The study aimed to determine the impact of the mediating role of administrative leadership on the relationship between crisis management and change management, to identify the effect of administrative leadership on change management, to determine the effect of administrative leadership on crisis management, to ascertain the effect of crisis management on change management, and to understand the effect of crisis management when it mediates the relationship between administrative leadership and change management. The descriptive analytical approach was adopted due to its suitability for the nature of this study. The study population consisted of employees at Al-Imam Al-Hadi College. The study yielded several findings, including a strong agreement among the sample members on the effectiveness of administrative leadership at Al-Imam Al-Hadi College in motivating employees, developing plans, and addressing crises. The study also emphasized that leadership possesses influential personal and intellectual qualities and the ability to effect change and utilize human resources effectively. The study concluded with several recommendations: developing periodic training programs for administrative leaders focusing on crisis management skills, transformational leadership, and decision-making under pressure; adopting a participatory leadership style by involving employees in decision-making, which enhances commitment and institutional belonging; establishing a knowledge management unit within the college to collect and document previous experiences and lessons learned, serving as a reference when facing future crises; and encouraging and funding applied scientific research related to institutional crisis management and educational leadership within the college.
